With the 2nd XV game postponed, we’re expecting a big crowd to rally behind the team, bringing energy and spirit to help cheer our boys toward their first win of the season! ?

In the absence of TJ, Harvey Skinner will proudly lead the squad as captain for the first time. Let’s show him, and every member of our team, unwavering support from the sidelines!

Team Breakdown
This week sees a mix of new and familiar faces returning to their usual positions, strengthening the lineup. We’ve got a tight 5 that’s become a familiar force: Fane leads the engine room alongside Brinkley, making his 4th cap, and Bell, back in a Stowmarket jersey for the first time since youth rugby. Adding even more power in the row are Lancaster and Lynch, fresh off last week’s strong performances.

At No. 8, Ali Vivian takes on his usual role as pack captain, and last season's Player’s Player award and 1st XV player, Hewett is back at 6 ready to tear it up.

In the backline, Dan Garrard dons the No. 10 shirt for his fifth match of his 18th senior season, bringing the depth of experience only years on the field can give. Woolnough returns to the center, adding a reliable ball carrier and additional playmaker to our lineup. In the center, Marimiroja – a fan favorite – is sure to bring the crowd to their feet with every touch of the ball as they cheer Munnnnooooooo.

Holding strong at fullback is our captain, Harvey Skinner, flanked by the quick steps of Lloyd-Davis and speed of Tolworthy’s on the wing. Completing the squad are our powerhouse finishers: Jack Wilson (all 6’7” of him!), forward’s leader Cole, and the high ball specialist Tom Norfolk, finally back in action.

Exciting Home Debuts
Gibson and Ponder represent our exciting partnership with Cambridge RUFC, stepping in for the first time to wear Stowmarket’s Navy and Red at Phoenix Park. Both young and talented, we’re thrilled to see these new faces taking on crucial positions in the lineup.

With the Supporters Club Lunch starting things off, plus a thrilling Meat Raffle and delicious eats from the Stowmarket Food Trailer, it’s set to be an unforgettable day both on and off the pitch.
